2nd Annual Blueberry Festival
July 31, 2009 - August 9, 2009
An eclectic recognition of all things blue! Agricultural products & activities, church bake sales, storefront window contests and blue light specials, family picnics and 100 gallons of blue jello. Charity walks, dances, library programs, bookstore contests. Blueberry-enhanced entrees, bar-b-ques and brunches! Deja Blue Car Show, blues bands, and Wearin’ of the Blue Village Strolls.

The 2009 Deerfield Valley Blueberry Festival, named a Vermont Top 10 Summer Event for 2009, is the culmination of a community effort coordinated by Janet Boyd from Boyd Family Farm in Wilmington in which dozens of businesses, organizations and individuals have created blueberry or blue themed events happening ten days consecutive days at the end of July into August. The US KENDA CUP EAST
August 8, 2009
The U.S. Cup is a comprehensive thirteen round series created to establish top amateur and regional pro XC champions on both the West and East coast. A final "shoot out" unification round in Las Vegas will pit Kenda Cup West/East champions plus top amateur riders against one another for ultimate bragging rights and a U.S. Cup Series unification title. In addition amateur racers will have the chance to see the world's top male and female cross country Pro rider's slug it out for the coveted Pro XCT number one plate at select Kenda Cup West and Kenda Cup East.

Mount Snow's stop - THE SNOW SHOOTOUT will feature as always one of the most grueling stops along the circuit as riders will have to endure the infamous 5-mile cloverleaf course. Mount Snow's course is synonomous with rocks, roots, and New England mud. The four mile south loop is comprised of 2.5 miles of climbing and then a 1 mile downhill single track descent. Running in conjunction with the U.S. Cup series, is USA Cycling's Pro XCT tour presented by Sho-Air. These seven U.C.I. rated events (three on the west and three on the east) with the finale in Las Vegas offer pro riders valuable points as they press on towards landing a spot on their country's MTB team for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The Pro XCT will also test the world's fastest male and female pro cross country riders as they vie for Pro XCT number one plate, with the finale taking place in Las Vegas. www.mountsnow.com/newsummer/bikefestival.html
 
Trek Women's Triathlon Series

A new event to the Mount Snow region the Trek Women's Triathlon Series is a sprint triathlon that will take place in the Mount Snow Valley. This womens only event will challenge the ladies in swimming, a 12-mile bike ride, and then a 3 mile run to crown winners in a number of divisions and categories. Vermont Blues Festival
August 21-23, 2009
The first ever Vermont Blues Festival rolls into Mount Snow for three days of world class blues and soul! The Green Mountains and the beautiful vibrant green colors of summer will provide a unique backdrop for these amazing artists.

Our huge 100' x 60' event20tent will provide an intimate setting in the base area while the main stage, set up at the base of Standard ski trail, is a a natural amphitheater that will make for some amazing acoustic music.

Vermont Life Wine & Harvest Festival
September 25-27, 2009
The Mount Snow Valley and Vermont Life Magazine invite you to The Second Annual Vermont Life Wine & Harvest Festival a weekend showcase for Vermont wines, Vermont specialty foods and artisans of all types celebrating the rich uniqueness, quality and ingenuity of Vermont producers. Set in the backdrop of our world renowned Vermont fall foliage; attendees will discover, savor and enjoy Vermont vintners, small specialty food producers, painters, publishers, cheese makers, potters, jewelers, chefs, photographers and farmers.

Named one of Vermont's top ten 2009 fall events! The 2009 weekend long festival will feature additional authentic Vermont experiences including a Bluegrass BBQ, Indigenous Vermonter breakfasts, a series of wine pairing dinners at the Mount Snow Valleys finest eateries and a pitchfork to plate dinner.

The Mount Snow Valley (home to Southern Vermont’s premiere ski resort, Mount Snow) is a major Vermont tourist destination in the summer and the fall, and the Saturday/Sunday festival takes place at the sheltered but highly visible intersection of Routes 9 East and 100 South adjacent to the historic White House of Wilmington Inn.

12th Annual Oktoberfest & 35th Annual Harvest Art & Craft Show
October 10-11, 2009
Our 12th annual fall festival & celebration of German Music, Beer, Food & Games. This fun family event features kids activities including face painting, pumpkin painting, arts & crafts, a hay pile and the infamous "schnitzel toss."

Adults have games too including the Keg Toss, Horseshoe Tournament, Stein Holding and new this year the one man saw! The Apple Sling Shot will also return!

Again our favorite New England Breweries will be back with their fall line ups to accompany the German Style beers. All 21+ adult admission receive a sovenir pint glass and a free drink on Mount Snow. Hours of operation, schedule, admission fees, and more details to be announced soon.

Our annual art & craft show has been a staple at Mount Snow for 35 years and it's a great way to get a head start on your holiday shopping.
